Enabling and Configuring Social Media

Social media can be an important part of the way you interact with those who visit your website and engage with your organization. We've made the use of social media even easier by building social options right in to Radius Web Tools. Here's how you can enable and set up social media for your website.

Follow Us Buttons - these direct visitors to YOUR social media accounts. You can select from any number of the most popular social networks (the list of options is growing!), and add those links to the right of the browser window, the left, in the header, or in the footer. Use the "Follow Us" buttons to expand your social networks and reach.

Share Buttons - these allow your website visitors to share your content and promote you via THEIR individual social media accounts. While the channels for sharing cannot be modified (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.), it can be determined on which types of website pages the sharing option appears. Use the "Share" buttons to allow your customers, members, parishioners, and associates to promote you to grow your influence organically!

Step By Step: Setting Social Media Options

  1. Navigate to the "Sitewide" and click the "Social" link.Navigate to Social Media Options

  2. Select where on your site you would like to display your social media links.

    1. Footer / Inline will place social media icons in the footer area (bottom) of your website.

    2. Floating Left will place social media icons on the left side of your website without affecting the display of your contect and will scroll up and down as the user navigates your website.

    3. Floating Right will place social media icons on the right side of your website without affecting the display of your contect and will scroll up and down as the user navigates your website.
    4. Floating Top will place social media icons at the top of your website and will scroll up and down as the user navigates your website.
    5. Off will disable the use of built in social media icons.

  3. Select which social networks you would like to feature on your site. For more about what information to enter, please see Social Media Follow Buttons.

  5. When you have reviewed the settings and are happy with your adjustments, click Save.
